Occupied Jerusalem, April 18 (QNA) - Around 225 colonists stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque Thursday, heavily guarded by the Israeli occupation police.
According to Palestinian news agency (WAFA), colonists broke into Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Maghrebi Gate, carried out provocative tours and performed Talmudic rituals in its courtyards.
The occupation police also tightened their military procedures at the gates of the Old City and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Raids by colonists and extremists into Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem has increased significantly since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip. (QNA)
